Are you Feeling Stagnant? 1

Today’s subject came from the sermon I heard today. Thank you Pastor L. Shanell Campbell. I had to follow my heart. There’s someone who needs to read this to move forward. It rested and laid in my spirit. Most of my coaching sessions are on feeling stuck and stagnant.

Are you feeling stagnant? Could it be your job, your life, your past, or your relationship!
I want to encourage you to just get up and start working on it. Just get up and do something!

Stagnant is defined as; not following in a current or stream; without inflow and outflow; and not advancing or developing. Merriam-Webster.

What resources, power, skills, talents, and abilities have you allowed to become stagnant? What’s causing you not to grow, not to flow and advance or develop? What’s happened to your energy and desire to move forward in a direction that promotes your growth and development? As Marvin Gaye sang the song, “What’s Going On?”

Sometimes when you feel stagnant. You may feel stuck. This can manifest in you struggling to formulate solutions or having difficulty making progress on your goals.

I am sharing with you four powerful coaching questions for you to understand how the emotion arose.
• What is your definition of being “stuck?”
• Why do you believe you are stuck?
• What is standing between you and your goals?
• Are you stuck because you lack certain skills or knowledge or because you know what to do but haven’t been applying what you know?

These are powerful questions for you to ask yourself and answer honestly. I want to encourage you to Get Up, pick up your Resources, Power, Gifts, and Skills, and live your full potential.

If you find yourself still feeling stuck after answering the questions above. We would love to offer you a consultative coaching session to help you gain clarity. Our mission: Nurture changed based on truth which inspires, renews, and re-energizes with vision, potential, and opportunities.

Coach Jennifer
